Sedecordle
Sedecordle is sixteen Wordle boards at once, with twenty-one guesses to clear them all. It is the largest mode we offer and the one that behaves least like Wordle. Solving individual words barely matters here. What decides the game is bookkeeping and nerve.
Why sixteen boards changes everything
Twenty-one guesses for sixteen words is only five spare — proportionally the tightest budget of any mode. But the flip side is that every single guess lands on sixteen boards at once, so the information you collect early is enormous. A Sedecordle round is therefore front-loaded: the first five or six words do almost all of the real work, and the remaining fifteen are mostly typing out answers you already know.
How to survive it
- Open with five coverage words. Five words sharing no letters test twenty-five letters — essentially the whole useful alphabet — across all sixteen boards. Do not deviate, and do not solve anything during this phase even if an answer is obvious.
- Then scan, do not think. Sweep the grid for boards that are already forced and clear them in a run. Most players lose here not by guessing wrong but by missing a board that was solvable three guesses ago.
- Track the budget out loud. Boards left versus guesses left. The moment those numbers are equal you have zero slack, and any exploratory word from that point costs you a board.
- Do not panic at the wall of grey. Sixteen half-finished boards look hopeless around guess seven and are usually in excellent shape.
If sixteen is too much for today, Octordle halves it and Quordle halves it again. There is a shared daily Sedecordle plus an unlimited practice mode, and the classic daily Wordle is always one board and six guesses.
